Another Friday (and another day of hard work) almost gone by. Everybody loves Fridays: some love them because the week is finally over and they can have some rest, others because they’re going to enjoy a blast of a weekend, and some others take the opportunity to go back home after spending a week studying. What will happen at Crowswood University? We don’t know for sure what the student body and the faculty did on a Friday, but what we do know is that nobody celebrates anything anymore in that place… Or do they? Have an awesome weekend!

We’d like to talk about game testing today! It’s one of the most important processes in videogame-making since it’s a period of time in which many aspects of the game are polished. Despite the team creates and tests at the same time, from our point of view it’s impossible to have a global vision of what the game is. It’s always very positive to attend game-related events and exhibitions so that people can try it, provide an opinion and some always necessary critique. In the events we’ve attended so far we’ve encountered all kinds of gamers, and we must keep them all in mind. For this reason, aside from attending said events, we’ve spent free time with friends, family and acquaintances to see how they played and, of course, their reactions. It’s the best way to find out if a project is going the right way (or not).

January is ending today and as you know, we released our game on the Steam store last week. While developing The Crow’s Eye, and seeing other genre-alike games, we realize how important the soundscape is. Not only music, but sound effects and quality voice acting are also essential. For this reason, we would like to thank Ryan Wiley, Tim Evans, Sara Secora (AviGaming) and Eric Aragoni for making voice acting in The Crow’s Eye be on such high level! Thank you all for your time and talent!
